Description

A slow burn friends-to-lovers romantic comedy!
When relationship counselor Sabrina Clarke gets a wedding invitation from the jerk who left her a jilted bride, she writes a scathing article on commitment-phobes that catapults her practice into the spotlight. But the publicity leads to unwelcome attention from a competitor who slams Sabrina for being single. And, hello, stupid mistakes! Sabrina panics in the middle of an interview and claims she’s in a relationship with the friend she secretly lusts for—Logan Campbell.

Steamed is an understatement when Logan’s long-distance relationship is derailed the moment Sabrina announces they’re a couple on TV. Way to throw him under the bus! The pressure’s on as Logan heads to California to repair his shaky relationship and navigate investor meetings for his tech company.

Sabrina knows she’s got to undo the damage, but when she meets the rotten cheating apple of Logan’s eye, she knows there’s only one thing for her to do…make another stupid mistake.

First time reading this author. Liked the main characters and storyline. At times I got lost with so many characters names involved and the fact this was the only book in the series that I read. The sex scenes were a little too graphic for me, but I know most romance authors have gone that route because it sells.

Sabrina Clarke is a relationship expert with serious personal issues and a huge crush on her good friend Logan Campbell. Stuck in his own relationship Logan can’t see the forest for the trees until Sabrina shows up for a party all glammed up. Now he’s zeroing in on this surprisingly flirty version of Sabrina and stumbling over his own two feet trying to figure her out. This pair really has to leap over a lot of hurdles to land in each other's arms, but you’ll have a really good time while they’re getting there.

A wonderful story with a HEA that makes you laugh, wonder, get frustrated and fall in love! Sabrina and Logan have a rough go in their story. Kylie Gilmore is a wonderful storyteller. The HEA book club #8 is a must read. It is a standalone BUT if you've read the others some of the background characters make much more sense.

The Happy Endings Book Club strikes again, and this time it’s Sabrina and Logan who are caught in the cross hairs of love. This is a wonderful friends-to-lovers story that begins with none other than a pretend romance that, of course, always snowballs out of control but this time neither Sabrina nor Logan are laughing at the consequences that follow. Suddenly, the woman who helps other couples work through their commitment issues realizes she has commitment issues of her own. Thank goodness her best friend is right by her side through this comedic and farcical read that is all kinds of entertaining and super sexy, too! I read a complimentary copy of this book and all opinions expressed in my voluntary review are completely my own.

Chance of Romance by Kylie Gilmore is another wonderful story in this already great series from one very talented author. This authors writing just reels you in, you instantly feel a connection with her characters. A great story that was fun and entertaining with some heart it made you smile even let out a laugh or two. Sabrina and Logan have become friends over time, they have fun and enjoyable lunches together. When Sabrina accidentally says Logan and herself are in a relationship this is where the fun really starts. I absolutely loved this great book it is a humorous and enjoyable read you won’t want to miss. A must read if you love a independent woman and the drop dead gorgeous man she lusts after this is the story for you. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

WOW! Loved it!! I was so excited to read Sabrina and Logan's story in Chance of Romance it was a page turner that I could not put down. I love Kylie Gilmore writing style she uses humor and throws twists in the story. Sabrina Clarke is a relationship counselor who writes a article about commitment phobia people that throws her into national spotlight. Logan Campbell, her friend goes to the morning TV show and Sabrina never corrects the host when she says Logan is her special friend. Yikes! Now they are pretending relationship and Logan then tells Sabrina that he has been dating another women for 6 months. What! Who? You will love reading all the twists, turns and sexual tension of Sabrina and Logan in Chance of Romance. I highly recommend reading it. I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

Sabrina loves her job as a relationship counselor and more because it is in direct contrast to her upbringing. Logan is busy setting up his own business but notices the beauty working next door. She doesn't believe he is willing to commit, and he doesn't think she is interested. Her relationship article is making national headlines, her family is coming out of the woodwork, and his college girlfriend throws herself into the mix. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Another wonderful romance for the Book Club ladies! Sabrina ventures into the spotlight, where she hates to be, and friend Logan gets pulled in for the ride. They each had their own relationship issues they had to work through, but being friends really helped them work through the issues together. I had laughs and tears with them the whole way. Cannot wait for the next book in the series, and then of course, Josh & Hailey!
