Now That I've Found You is a YA novel about searching for answers, love, and your eccentric grandma in all the wrong places.

Following in the footsteps of her überfamous grandma, eighteen-year-old Evie Jones is poised to be Hollywood’s next big star. That is until a close friend’s betrayal leads to her being blacklisted . . .

Fortunately, Evie knows just the thing to save her floundering career: a public appearance with America’s most beloved actress—her grandma Gigi, aka the Evelyn Conaway. The only problem? Gigi is a recluse who’s been out of the limelight for almost twenty years. Days before Evie plans to present her grandma with an honorary award in front of Hollywood’s elite, Gigi does the unthinkable: she disappears.

With time running out and her comeback on the line, Evie reluctantly enlists the help of the last person to see Gigi before she vanished: Milo Williams, a cute musician Evie isn’t sure she can trust. As Evie and Milo conduct a wild manhunt across New York City, romance and adventure abound while Evie makes some surprising discoveries about her grandma—and herself.

Now That I've Found You is a sweet novel about a young girl who believes her life is falling down around her as she goes on a search for her missing Grandmother. On the journey she gets reacquainted with herself and the woman she aspires to be. There is a romantic storyline, but it takes a backseat to the primary plot of the book rather than it being the most important point. Evie is dealing with much bigger issue with her Grandmother having essentially running away and trying to put her career back together after a very public misstep, subsequent firing, and dealing with the fallout from her supposed best friend. The book takes you all over New York City, but not quite the love letter to the city I hoped it would be. More of a taste that makes you miss the real thing all the more. The book is a quick and easy read, with a sense of being along for the ride.

A New York City based romantic comedy about an up and coming young actress who's been blacklisted, her very famous grandma who's gone missing, and a cute boy who might be the best chance at finding her. Now That I've Found You is a fast paced, entertaining YA Rom Com that I enjoyed reading! It was missing a little extra something to really make me love it, but it was definitely a super fun, fast read. Milo, the male love interest, is so likable in every way imaginable and I seriously wish I was real so I could date him myself! Evie, the female protagonist frustrated me at times and was overall harder to relate to. My hesitancy toward her made it harder to get really emotionally invested in the book. That being said, I truly enjoyed her character development and the book's themes of learning to love yourself. The mystery surrounding Gigi and her disappearance was incredibly intriguing and kept me enthralled and wanting to know what happened next. Without giving away too much, parts of the ending felt a little rushed to me, but other parts were exactly what I was hoping for! Something I kept thinking while reading was that this book would be the perfect candidate for a movie adaptation! Overall, I think this book was a great, fun, fast read with a nice overall message that I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves YA Rom Coms or themes of self love and trust.
