Had me on the EDGE of my seat. Definitely recommend!!

In between a 3.5 and 4 but rounding up here because I loved the ending on this one. A story that really emphasizes the lengths one would go for love and family. I loved that each chapter started with a quick sentence or two simply setting the scene. Since perspectives change throughout I found this so helpful in the overall plot. I’m so glad I picked this one up. “Life is fragile, fleeting, and precious. And to live at all is miracle enough.”

Just an absolute page turner. This writing style is my absolute favorite. Can’t recommend this book enough!

I enjoyed the author’s writing style for the most part, but found certain pieces of the plot to be implausible and illogical. I also was not a fan of the ending - I was hoping for something more intelligently crafted by the main characters that I wasn’t expecting. Overall, I read this book in one day and enjoyed it, I think it’s a good read for a plane or a lazy weekend. Although, it is a bit disturbing at times!

A great read, moved along well. And! It ended with chapter 77! How cool is that?!

Gripping from beginning to end. A nightmare situation that the author unravels with perfect timing, keeping the reader eagerly engaged to know more.
