Description

The sexy, action-packed first book in the #1 bestselling Court of Thorns and Roses series from global phenomenon Sarah J. Maas.

When nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a terrifying creature arrives to demand retribution. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she knows about only from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not truly a beast, but one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled her world.

At least, he's not a beast all the time.

As she adapts to her new home, her feelings for the faerie, Tamlin, transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie she's been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But something is not right in the faerie lands. An ancient, wicked shadow is growing, and Feyre must find a way to stop it, or doom Tamlin-and his world-forever.

From #1 bestselling author Sarah J. Maas comes a seductive, breathtaking book that blends romance, adventure, and faerie lore into an unforgettable read.

I really enjoyed this book. The authors descriptive writings are very impressive and while you’re reading the way she interprets you feel like you’ve missed out a lot, the actual art of writing when reading other books. Her ability to translate her thoughts onto paper is quite fascinating and inspiring. The actual plot of the book was excellent. It reminded me of beauty and the beast meets hunger games meets Conan the barbarian lol the only negative I would have about the book is that there is so much buildup about the main characters love for one another and passion, but when it comes to the scenes where they can express it it’s cut very short and not very detailed, which I think most of us prefer to read lol that’s my only critique, I really enjoyed the plot and will continue reading more

super corny, poorly written, very predictable, and all characters except nesta have dull stagnant personalities i genuinely don’t understand the hype for this series

I have never been much of a reader, but some of my friends recommend fantasy because I have never really found genres I was interested in. I started researching fantasy books and I found this book. I read it within 2 weeks, which is strange for myself. I could not put it down. Cannot wait to read the next book in the series!

True story - I soft DNF this book a year ago right after Fourth Wing. I think I wasn’t ready. I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish this time, and devoured it within few days. I am ready to take on the rest of the series, but it will have to wait until after spooky season. I guess I am now a fan of ACOTAR!
