This is a new take on the Hunchback of Notre Dame in which it involves Quasim who is an Alpha and Ezmira who is an Omega. I could not wait to jump into this book. The story is about Quasim who is an Alpha and lives most of his days in pain and mental torment from being tortured by his enemies for what felt like forever. However, when he goes to watch a traveling troupe perform, that is when he sees Ezmira dance, and all of a sudden he is free of pain and torment. So, how can he keep her so he can continue to feel this bliss, well in his mind there is only one solution, kidnap her. After Ezmira is kidnapped and really sees Quasim, she continues to notice all his imperfections and pain that he tries to mask, and even though she should be scared, she is not. While this relationship blooms, I’m so saddened by Quasim’s pain and what happened to him but elated with Ezmira’s gentleness and softness in trying to heal and maybe even love this damaged Alpha. This is such a moving and touching relationship. What I also loved so much about this book was that Quasim and Ezmira get their HEA and that is the best ending to this story!
