Description

Counterterrorist agent Mitch Rapp is on a collision course with America’s most feared enemy in this white-knuckle thriller from “the best pure adrenaline-charged action writer out there” (The Providence Journal) and #1 New York Times bestselling author of American Assassin.

No longer willing to wait for the international community to stop its neighboring enemy, Israel brings down Iran’s billion-dollar nuclear program in an ingeniously conceived operation. The attack leaves a radioactive tomb and environmental disaster in its wake, and has Iranian president Amatullah calling for blood—American blood.

Seeing opportunity where others fear reprisals, Mitch Rapp devises a brilliant plan to humiliate Iran’s government and push the nation to the brink of revolution. But when a back-channel meeting between CIA director Irene Kennedy and her Iranian counterpart goes disastrously wrong, Rapp is locked in a showdown with a Hezbollah mastermind in league with Amatullah—and he is given twenty-four hours to do whatever it takes to stop unthinkable catastrophe.

Vince has a very descriptive voice. It’s not pretentious or arrogant in any way. My dad is a navy guy, and he just loves the series which adds credibility. I plan to read the entire series.

I love most all of the Mitch Rapp series but this plot was without soul or character evolution. Seems a poor addition to the series.

I've read every book in order up to this one. I have to ask, was this book even written by Vince Flynn? I stayed up all night to wanting to put any of the previous books down. This one puts me to sleep each time I start to read it. I'm 1/2 way through and debating if I should it close it and start the next one, or force myself to finish it.

I've been reading books a long time and this is easily in my top 3 of all time. Absolutely impossible to put down, and very believable given recent world events.

This is a great book and as an author Vince Flynn is on a par with David Baldacci and superior to James Patterson. The mental images he is able to convey without droning endlessly are phenomenal.

Vince Flynn again hits his stride with this story and plot. The book will have you hooked from the beginning and the last 200 pages won't let you put it down. Highly recommend reading it.
