This book is brilliant! I was so tricked by slappy on the cover and had no idea mr wood was alive. Until the end.

Unlike one reviewer, this was not the first Goosebumps book I ever read. That honor goes to Stay Out of the Basement. But this is a great book that proves why the series is so popular! For any horror movie fans out there, kids or adults, this is like Child’s Play in a book, only it’s not as dark because it’s a children’s book! Thrilling and creepy!

  • Book is good, wish they’d re-release with the original artwork.

The covers are what sold me on this series when I was a kid. Wish they’d re-release these with the original covers.
  • What a way to revisit a classic. Nostalgia for modern devices.

I was a little disappointed that Slappy is NOT THE MAIN ANTAGONIST in this book, but it was a great story overall and very fun. This was a classic in its day and still lives up to this very day. I never read it when I was a kid, but reading it now appealed to the kid within. Great story. You’ll enjoy it if you appreciate a classic R.L. Stine tale. This iBook is a solid copy, works great on my iPad Mini (2019)!
