Description

SEASON'S KISSES . . .
Wild child Chloe Thompson can't believe how much things have changed. She still can't get enough of her sexy husband Sawyer, but he seems to prefer working to impending fatherhood. So tonight, a very pregnant Chloe is escaping her troubles at the town Christmas party.

Sheriff Sawyer Thompson hopes surprising Chloe at the party will give him a chance to set things right. But as the snow begins to fall and the wind rages, he wonders whether he can make it back in time. While mother nature conspires to keep Sawyer and Chloe apart, an unexpected arrival will require them to kiss and make up . . . and ring in the happiest holiday Lucky Harbor has ever seen.

I have loved the Lucky Harbor series, since the beginning. All the funny and quirky people, the cool shops...what is not to love? This short story rounds out the tail end and brings us back to characters we have loved as well. Sheriff Sawyer Thompson and wife Chloe have been so much fun! In this sweet holiday book Chloe and Sawyer are expecting a child and fighting a bit too. Chloe is worried that she does not tell Sawyer she loves him enough. Her hormones are crazy and all over the place, and she is basically wifezilla! Sawyer is still in love with her but trying to make ends meet and make a little more money on the side with a baby on the way. There are still a few surprises left in their relationship as this fun story gets to include many of our favorite characters from books past. The finishing touch of course, is the holiday party where everyone is about to be snowed in. I am true fan of the author, Jill Shalvis. She once again makes us feel at home with the people of Lucky Harbor as Chloe comes to see everyone loves her too. Jill always gives us a good read and this book is just her latest tale that makes you laugh, cry and glad she is a favored author!! ***I received this ARC copy from Netgalley.com for reviewer purposes.
