Always Watching (Elite Guardians Book #1)

What’s funny, is that this is the last book I read in the elite guardians series! I read all of the books at the library and couldn’t find this one either so my friend let me borrow hers to read.lol I really liked this series a lot and I am only 13 so that says a lot. This is definitely my fav series of Lynette Eason and I definitely recommend them. They are very clean romance, Christian, and the action is suspenseful!

Wade is a practicing psychiatrist and single father, who also has a radio program. A stalker reaches a dangerous level and his dad hires a security team. Olivia is one of the four women of the Elite Guardian Agency and after the one who is his bodyguard is attached she takes over. As the case intensifies, Wade and his daughters life is threatened, as is anyone he gets to close to. Who is the stalker which now has become a team? I love Lynette’s books and you’ll never be disappointed reading any of them.

This exciting page turner Kept me on the edge of my seat and definitely deserves 5 stars !!!!!

Excellently written. It’s suspense filled and the characters are well developed. I was often on the edge of my seat and truly felt for the two protagonists. Many suspense books make characters seem super-human, but this book did the opposite. I was able to see the vulnerability of each character, and thus, connect with them. In addition, the subtle inclusion of bible verses and conversations about faith ensures that the book is written in a way that can appeal to pretty much anyone. So, if you’re on the fence because of it being a Christian novel, read it anyway! You won’t regret it. Needless to say, I read it in 24 hours. I highly recommend this book.

...but I did! I usually stay away from this type of story because it isn’t the type of story I’m interested in. This book may have changed that, especially from this author. It was well written, interesting, exciting all with a good story with no dull boring parts or overly long descriptions of things or places that I usually skip anyway. The characters were likable and the story kept you guessing until the end, with some surprise twists. I did suspect someone but chanced my mind. I highly recommend this book regardless of if you like murder mysteries. You won’t be disappointed. I appreciate the author making this book available to read for free as I love to read but books are so costly now.

I loved every minute of this book! The well developed characters and their interactions had me hooked from the first page. Finally a book with a female lead that isn’t filled with foul language and sex scenes. That you for wonderful storyline. I am definitely reading the series.

Amazing story!! Love the strong characters and the setting!

I loved both of the main characters. They are so well developed and the way their personalities are presented layer by layer is amazing. Olivia has a number of tragedies from her childhood and one by one they are shared with Wade. It is very easy to understand how each of them went into defining who she is as a person. Wade is a solid believer and has established himself as a very knowledgeable psychiatrist. Just the type of person to understand Olivia’s past the best and then to help her move beyond the emotions that hold her back. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the calm way that both Wade and his father Bruce turned to prayer at the most frightening times. This is something that all believers should remember to do and yet it can be so hard to accomplish.

This book was wonderful! Her writing is top notch, as always! The female bodyguard concept is a delightful new twist on a favorite genre! This is a MUST READ!

Fast paced but not so fast I had to put it away to keep my heart from racing so fast. I loved the story. The stalking that escalates. How does he/she know when, where and what the victim is doing. I did guess the who, but it was great to see it all come together. Olivia and Wade were great together. I found the various incidents were heart pounding enough and the breathing room in between was necessary. I liked the way the story unfolded without giving away too much. The whole reveal of who the stalker was and the accomplice got revealed in parts and was very clever. The ending was suspenseful and the whole book was exciting. Great start to the a new series. Can’t wait to read the rest of them.
