Description

NOW A MAJOR MOTION PICTURE STARRING BLAKE LIVELY AND JUSTIN BALDONI!

From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of It Starts with Us and All Your Perfects, a “brave and heartbreaking novel that digs its claws into you and doesn’t let go, long after you’ve finished it” (Anna Todd, New York Times bestselling author) about a young woman in a new relationship who can’t stop thinking about her first love.

Lily hasn’t always had it easy, but that’s never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She’s come a long way from the small town where she grew up—she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. And when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life seems too good to be true.

Ryle is assertive, stubborn, maybe even a little arrogant. He’s also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot for Lily. And the way he looks in scrubs certainly doesn’t hurt. Lily can’t get him out of her head. But Ryle’s complete aversion to relationships is disturbing. Even as Lily finds herself becoming the exception to his “no dating” rule, she can’t help but wonder what made him that way in the first place.

As questions about her new relationship overwhelm her, so do thoughts of Atlas Corrigan—her first love and a link to the past she left behind. He was her kindred spirit, her protector. When Atlas suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened.

An honest, evocative, and tender novel, It Ends with Us is “a glorious and touching read, a forever keeper. The kind of book that gets handed down” (USA TODAY).

on’t ever really read romance novels. This one took me a couple times to try and read it. But once I got far enough, I was hooked. I think this book did justice for all the DV survivors. Definitely relatable. Definitely brung out every emotion there is. From mad, to sad, then happy. I absolutely loved this book!

This book was absolutely amazing. I feel for anyone who goes through these situations. I can see how it may be tough to move on. I need more about Lily and Atlas! I was in love with their storyline.

I felt like I fell in love with the characters. I adore Lilly. I think this did a good job giving insight on why women stay, but I feel like it could’ve used a little more toxic signs in a relationship that most people see as toxic. I think the book should bring more awareness with abusers separating you from your family, friends, being controlling with what you wear, etc. I think this spoke a lot about patterns and physical violence but didn’t go over emotional trauma as much. I still think it was really well written and an excellent read.

Good story, well-written with full characters. It definitely gives a thoughtful take on abusive relationships that doesn’t demonize anyone, which is difficult but allows more learning. But does she have to end up in a man’s arms? Is it necessary to prove her emotional health?

It Ends With us is the perfect book to get yourself out of a reading slump. It’s quickly catching and will keep you entertained. A super easy and quick read. My only issue personally was the ending but to be fair I prefer cynical endings especially if there’s a second book. Overall worth the read.
