Description

The street racer meets the shy librarian.

Luke grew up on the wrong side of the tracks, but that never stopped him from making his dreams a reality.

When Violet stumbles into his shop, Luke knows he's met his match. But Violet isn't like most girls. She's sheltered and quiet, content to live in the world provided by the books she loves so much.

Both ruled by the lessons of their pasts, will their relationship ever get a chance at a future?

I loved this story and can’t wait to read the next 2 in the series. Cute romance with some real life problems.

I couldn’t make it past the first three chapters. All the grammatical errors made for a difficult read.

The story is full of laughter, love, and sadness. It has a great mixture of feelings and was a good story to read. Luke works at a garage and Violet works at the library. They are completely different from each other but are brought together by Luke’s sister Frankie. I enjoyed how things worked out and will be looking forward to the next book.

Not impressed really. It was readable but the main character was so boring and uninspired that I lost interest quickly.

I loved this story. Of course I am a huge fan of Street Outlaws so I love street racing. I like Violet’s character and we got to see her come out of her shell as the book went on. She was a Liberian who had a big heart. I loved the concern and connection she had with Frankie. Frankie really needed someone to reach out to her and show someone knew what she was going through. Luke was this hot mechanic which was also getting ready for the Street Wars. I truly felt for Luke. He had a great burden on his shoulders. He had a good heart but it was hard to see at first. I loved Luke and Violets first meet. For some reason I pictured someone that looked like a drowned rat. LOL Not a way I would like a cute guy to see me. Luke came off pretty standoffish and Violet came off kind of snooty. I loved reading about their relationship growing. I guess in a way their was Frankie to thank for that. I did not like Ginny at all. She was true evil and wish we could of seen her get what she deserved. I loved the closeness that Luke had with his brothers but hated how Frankie was sort of forgotten. In this story I did like how we got to see that relationship mend. In this story we will get to see some hot steamy passion between Luke and Violet. We will get to see how they become each other rocks and trust me when I say Luke truly needs someone to lean on. This was a great story and glad I got to read it.
