    The story line was good. What was difficult about the book was that it had 2 sections that had several blank pages. Part of the story was missing. It wasn’t proofed. WhT would I spend money on the next book only to be presented with blank pages, misspelled words and unusual sentence structure

    The characters were fantastic and the story was interesting. An abused child becomes a soldier and comes home to get hid affairs in order after his uncle dies. He falls in love with a beautiful single mother.

    A bachelor’s worst nightmare to be up for auction for a date. Doing a favor wasn’t Colts idea of a leave in the service. Things really heat up & it changes his perspective on his future. Love conquers all.

    The characters were well written, and likable. I was surprised with the ending, mainly why the Wilder woman was introduced at the end of the story. From the short next book excerpt, I can tell more will be explained in the next book. I didn’t realize this was a series, though this book is a stand alone read. Enjoyable!

    I enjoyed it until the end. What the heck kind of ending. It as if the author didn’t want to write anymore and just stopped!!! There are questions still unanswered. And why the heck was a new character introduced that had no bearing on the story as it was written. The end was all disjointed and did not make any sense. And a publisher and editor of any quality would have pointed this out. If the ending wasn’t so bad I would have rated it much higher. I am not going to read anything else written by this author.
