Description

Lilith was sure she was going to lose her mind. Her boss and best friend Sarah, had only been gone for three days. Yet, she found herself itching to pick up the phone and call her back to help deal with the mess. Sure, she’d been in worse pickles, but knowing that didn’t help the current situation.
“What do you mean you can’t have the delivery here until next Tuesday?” She growled into the phone, then listened as the general manager of their local produce deliver explained how they had lost their last shipment. “I don’t care what you need to do, just have our order to us by tomorrow afternoon.” She slammed down the phone and cringed when she realized that even if the delivery did come tomorrow afternoon, she was still going to have to explain to Adam, the head chief at East Haven Resorts, why his order was two days late.

Emotionally thrilling, sweet, charming, mysterious and entertaining romantic adventure filled with family and love. Lilith is sweet, sassy and hiding a past that she would rather keep barred deep and a serious issue trusting people. She is helping her best friend Sarah (you might remember her from Silver Lining) out for the next two weeks taking over the resort wile Sarah is away on her honeymoon. Adam is the sexy, arrogant, French head chief at the resort with a reputation as a lady's man, as well as having a volatile temper. Sparks are simmering and things get really heated when Adam thinks another man might take what he wants (Lilith). Highly entertaining late night reading.

Loved the second book of a Silver Cove series. An excellent book remembering the love/hate relationship between Lilly & Adam. The suspense of Lilly's stalker & Adam's genuine love for her, kept the story moving in different directions. The mystery, the interconnection between the residents, family, & guests at The Inn added to the chemistry between Lily & Adam. Can't wait for the next book in the series.
