An excellent collection of stories by some well know writers who I enjoy reading. Anthea Sharpe, D.L. Dunbar, Pippa DaCosta, Christine Pope and C. Gockel are authors whose works I read and enjoy. I now have a few new authors to select from. I do recommend this collection of stories in this book!

I ran out of authors due to the old "reading happens faster than writing" thing. I also ran out of possible candidates due to iTunes' books search always turning up the same exact results. This free find introduced me to some new authors I feel I'll mesh well with. There's a good assortment of sci. fi. in here so it should be a worth while read for you. I'm off to pounce on those new leads!
  • Great way to explore new to you authors

First off, I received a free copy of this book for a honest review. O.K. that's out of the way. One of the great things about a collection of short stories by authors you've never read before is you can preview many authors without investing in a lot of books. I really enjoyed this collection and found several new authors to follow. One story, Carl Sagan's Hunt for Intelligent Life in the Universe, was especially good, not because C.Gockel is a new to me but because the story answered questions left hanging in her book Archangel Down. So if you're either looking for new authors or revisiting old favorites this book is a good bet.
