Exquisitely boring. After having read The Dragon And The George, this book falls flat.

Perhaps a different title. My only minor criticism... Beautifully written, part Sci Fi and part western. I can't imagine the research needed in many areas as in this novel. I found it tough to put down and completed it in 3 days. The beginning and ending were perfect as was the middle. I admit I read lightly over the technical material to get back to the story. Congratulations to the author and all his contributors. Great imaginations. Who cares what brought the earth back to the "Iron Age".
  • Gripping and intensely entertaining.
