Pursued (The Nikki Boyd Files Book #3)

I loved the second one and first one a ton! It was so good and well written! I have not gotten the chance to read this book yet because of the price.....I’m waiting to read it. I have read the sample and it sounds like it is going to be a Great one! I can’t wait to read this book by the talented author Lisa Harris😋

The case that Nikki is working on is a stand alone storyline. To get the full enjoyment out of this book though the series should be read in order to be able to follow the details of Nikki’s personal life. I love the depth of the main character. Nikki has more problems thrown at her over the course of this book than anyone should have to face. Yet she holds on to her sanity and remembers to ask God for the strength, and everything else, she needs. I really like the amount of personal life issues that crop up too. She has to try and balance work with them just like we all do. The plot was great! It moved quickly with plenty of twists and turns to keep the readers guessing. Early on the identity of the bad guy is revealed but it only made it more exciting in my mind to see how the story would play out.

Dive into a faced paced story of suspense, intrigue, mystery, vivid characters, murder, a plane crash and a missing woman. Nikki Boyd is traveling home to Nashville. She strikes up a conversation with the passenger next to her before the crash then can not find her after the crash except for her diamond watch. Nikki is Special Agent Nikki Boyd, an investigator for the Missing Person Unit in Nashville. When she tries to find the woman's full name, Nikki discovers that the seat next to her's on the plane was unoccupied according to the airlines. She also discovers the man in the window seat was a Federal Marshal. He died during the crash. But was he a real agent?? When was he on the plane next to the missing woman? The FBI needs Nikki's help in locating the missing woman. Will she be able to help? Who broke into Nikki's house?? What is happening?? The story has a plot that was flawless, exciting and kept the reader on the edge of their seat. Highly recommend this book. I volunteered to read this book. Thanks to the author for the opportunity. My opinion is my own.

PURSUED by Lisa Harris the 3rd in the Nikki Boyd Series. Nikki having a turbulent airplane ride, that had to make an emergency landing. Finding a passenger dead, and the woman in the middle seat, seemed to have vanished. They check the flight manifest and that seat was empty. Nikki found the woman's watch after she left, even though airline staff didn't believe her. Why would the air Marshall be on the plane, and now dead. FBI agent come and ask Nikki to come with them, they inform her, that Ericka was on the plane, and the air Marshall was escorting her. There is a leak somewhere, and chaos of plane crash. Nikki job is missing persons, they want her to find Erika, within 48 hours. Love is a powerful motivator, Nikki wants to get case close and be with Tyler, now knowing he loves her. Good flowing plot, that lets you into the characters, and the steps to solve this mystery. As all her books , this too is a winner, for all to enjoy and read. Pursued is the third book in The Nikki Boyd Files by Lisa Harris. As I have said about every other book I have read by her, this is a must-read! I was hooked from the very beginning and I couldn't put it down! Nikki Boyd works for the Tennessee Missing Persons Task Force and ends up involved in her newest case by accident. She is on a plane that crashes and the woman in the seat next to her just disappears. Nikki finds out from the FBI that the woman was on the plane so she could testify against an ex-boyfriend in an upcoming case. The search begins for the woman from the plane , but who will find her first...Nikki and her team or the man who will stop and nothing to keep her from testifying? What I appreciate about a Lisa Harris novel is she balances the right amount of suspense with romance. While the reader is on the edge of her seat wondering what is going to happen next, she also gets to watch Nikki and Tyler's relationship continue to develop in the midst of the action. You could read Pursued as a standalone, but I would highly recommend you start with Vendetta. Looking forward to Vanishing Point, the next in the series which releases this fall!
