Excellent advice - both for travel and life. No hippy dippy bullsh!t, just solid life suggestions. I even like the occasional typo...... it makes it feel like a conversation from a friend.

I have read Leo's Zen Habits blog for years and have made great strides toward a more essential and purposeful life. I bought and read this book in one morning for my birthday today, as my theme for this year is "My Year With Less" (I actually bought the domain and am going to blog about it).
This book served as a perfect kickoff. Short tips and lists to help you travel without excess or stress, with insights on carrying that same mindset into everyday life. There's nothing earth shattering in this book, but there doesn't need to be. It's a simple but excellent game plan.
