A Mommy for Christmas by Ginny Baird is book number two in the Christmas Town series. This is attorney Ben Winchester and Sandy Claus' story. Ben is a single dad doing his best to raise his daughter. Ben and his daughter go to Christmas Town to visit his sister. Ben meets Sandy who runs the Snow Globe Gallery in Christmas Town. Sandy and Ben fall for each other but will secrets keep them from finding true love? Christmas Town sounds like a perfect little town to live in. The shops and the people are wonderful. This is a cute, sweet, and magical Christmas romance. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Return to Christmas Town, Tennessee in this new installment. This time, we get to read about Hannah's older brother, Ben Winchester, his daughter, Lily, and Hannah's best friend, Sandy Claus. Ben is an attorney and is in Christmas Town to participate in Hannah's wedding as well as to watch Hannah's cats while she's on her honeymoon. In the meantime, he meets Sandy who he's immediately attracted to. However, he's still struggling with the death of his wife, not to mention the fact that he plans to return to his home in Virginia. Sandy has a secret that has proven to scare men away before. Therefore, when she feels the attraction to Ben, she fights it as hard as she can. However, as her brother, Nick, points out, maybe he's "the one?" What follows is a fun, light hearted romp around in the snow with some cute, mild paranormal thrown in for good measure. Enjoy reading about all the antics that Sandy tries as she attempts to keep Ben at arm's length. Then, fall in love with Ben's daughter, Lily, as she charms everyone in town. Finally, catch up with all the other local citizens of Christmas Town who will quickly become your friends. My one criticism is that the beginning few chapters felt slow to me, but the pace picked up somewhere around 30%. Romance - steamy PG - multiple kisses and one referenced / off camera romance Language - clean My rating - 4 stars.

I loved this wonderful whimsical story that fills your heart with the spirit of the season. Single dad Ben Winchester and his young daughter Lily are in Christmas Town housesitting for his sister over the holidays. The longer they stay the more the little town grows on them as does the attraction between Ben and artist Sandy Claus. But Sandy is a very unique lady. Can Ben handle her crazy family ties??? Don't miss this one!!
