Description

The Sons of Horus may be no more, but rising from their ashes come the Black Legion. Returning after his long self-imposed exile, Abaddon offers the disparate Chaos Space Marine warbands within the Eye of Terror a simple choice – join him or die. As his newborn war host emerges from the Eye of Terror to ravage the galaxy, none can stand in Abaddon’s path, not even the Black Templars Chapter – sworn to stand guard at the storm’s edge – nor the Emperor’s Champion himself.

Read it Because
It's the long awaited sequel to 'The Talon of Horus', and it sees Abaddon step up his game and start to unite the Traitor Legions into a force that will once again threaten the Imperium. Also: Abaddon vs Sigismund…

Unique and interesting. I thought it to be one of the best traitor legion books. If I could critique one thing it would be some drawn out descriptions but this could be from my own desire to read more and more.

This is possibly even better than its predecessor. Adb has depicted the black legion in a light of how one would suspect liberators would be. This is a must read for any looking to understand the Imperiums greatest threat, for abaddon promises one thing that will make the tyrannical empire shake in fear. Freedom

Waited 3 years, killed it in 36 hours. Dembski-Bowden nails it again.
