“[A] stunning, haunting work of art..."—The New York Times Book Review

For both young readers and adults The Diary continues to capture the remarkable spirit of Anne Frank, who for a time survived the worst horror the modern world has seen—and who remained triumphantly and heartbreakingly human throughout her ordeal.

rly tugged at my heart. I felt absolutely devastated. Beautiful imagery. Some parts were quite *mature* so I recommend 12+.

I didn’t enjoy reading so many of the full diary entries. It’s slowed down my reading. And I like graphic novels because I can digest them rather quickly….almost mindlessly. That wasn’t possible when I reached the long entries. I had to really focus when moves away from my reason for reading graphic novels instead of unabridged versions of this literature.
