Honestly Blades VR is a phenomenal book that I enjoyed reading. I love the whole concept on how he describes a first person view inside a gaming world. We play games and use the characters, but when you read it from a first person point of view your able to build a connection not only to the character but to the gaming world. I would defiantly recommend this book to anybody to read and if you haven't read his other series, The Game is Life what are you waiting for pick it up and you'll be instantly hooked. Once your finished with his series you’ll get lost thinking if this is reality or just another simulation.

The whole Blades VR series is absolutely fantastic! Let me put it like this. I was reading Stephen King’s Dark Tower series and stopped reading it to read the Blades VR series. Can’t wait for the next book!

With reminiscent tones of Sword Art Online and .hack//Sign, this new series by Terry Schott makes older ideas new again. If you are a fan of his Gamer series you will enjoy this take on the VRMMORPG genre. The themes that make Schott great are still here: a beautiful virtual world, engaging characters, mysteries to explore, a troubled designer, and the hint that not everything in the game is under the control of the programmers. Two thumbs up!

I read this originally on iTunes but think it has updated since my last review.... This is yet another amazing story by Terry Schott that instantly pulls you in and leaves you hungering for the next installment. If you love the Game is life series you will easily love this book as well. But reading one is not needed to understand and follow Scout. I am already vested in the several story lines and eager to know what happens to the characters. I love that it puts a turn/dice based game like D&D and the story idea of the Game and brings them together. I have always been a sci-fi fantasy fan and Terry writes like he has a link directly to my imagination. I am always left wondering if the world I am in is the real version or not.
