Craving independence, twenty-five-year-old Mallory has decided she must break free from her overprotective father. After yet another argument with him, she ends up drunk at a party where she falls, literally, into the arms of Alex, a successful businessman and sexy Las Vegas playboy. After making the worst possible first impression, she bumps into Alex again at the shabby apartment building where she secretly plans to rent a room for herself.
