Description

The first time I kissed Scarlet, I knew I was in trouble.

The night I slept with her, my life changed forever.

The day I found out I was going to be a father, I ran from her.

Now that I've been given a second chance I won't be so reckless.

Will my love be enough to prove to her that even in the darkest times I won't repeat the past?

  • Perfect ending to an Incredible Series!

I am absolutely in-love with the Cowboys & Angels series and while I am unbelievably sad that it’s over, “Reckless Love” was absolute perfection and was a better ending then I could’ve ever hoped for! Trevor & Scarlett’s Story was so powerful in so many ways. To start, you could actually feel their passion and their love for one another - even when they were too ridiculous to admit said love! Everything they went through to get to where they ended up was nothing short of a miracle! I only wish I could read them again for the first time! ♥️

The final book in this series delivered just like the first book. Very sad to see it end! Loved all the books and Trevor and Scarlett’s story was just as good as all the others. Highly recommend this series!

As much as I wish this series never had to end, I can’t think of a more perfect ending than Trevor and Scarlett’s story. I’ll admit I was one of the ones who’d been screaming at Trevor in previous books and wanting to shake some sense into him, but holy moly does Kelly Elliott know how to redeem a man! I cried as many tears from happiness as I did from heartbreak reading this. I also had quite a few moments of hysterical laughter which is pretty typical when it comes to the Parker family. I think Trevor and Scarlett have had the rockiest of all the relationships in this series. With Trevor running scared of his feelings for quite a while and Scarlett’s heart being broken every time there was a good bit of groveling this cowboy needed to do. But no one can sweep a woman off her feet like one of the Parker men and before I knew it I was #TeamTrevor and cheering him on. Even with the past these two had the love Trevor has for Scarlett leaps off the pages and steals your heart! So many things happen in this book that make it unputdownable! Epic romance, heartwarming family, deeply moving emotion, and serious laughs are on every page keeping you hooked.

I have truly enjoyed this series so far and was both excited and dreading this book. Excited because I wanted this story and dreading because I wasn't quite ready to say goodbye to this family. This book made me chuckle and shake my head and I even teared up a time or two. Overall, I enjoyed this book. This book is not a standalone-at all. If you haven't read the others go back and read your way through the series; I am sure you won't regret it. But don't start here! I really liked Scarlet. I appreciated how she worked through things on her own and that she held her ground on some things. She's done playing around with Trevor and waiting for him to come to his senses. I was worried about Trevor. After reading the other books I wasn't sure if I could fall for him. But I did. He wound up winning me over and showing me some growth and maturity. He earned my respect in this book for sure. Scarlet and Trevor definitely have chemistry, it's just a matter of Trevor growing up and getting over his fear of commitment. I liked his progression throughout the book and I understood Scarlet's feelings on it as well. I loved seeing their journey towards happy ever after; because it was definitely a journey. These two had their work cut out for them and they rose to the occasion. As with all the other books in this series we did get to see all of the rest of the Parker clan as well. Seeing how this was the last book in the series I fully expected that. I will say there was a bit more of the rest of the family in this book and I think they almost overshadowed Scarlet and Trevor at times. I love them, don't get me wrong, but I did want a tiny bit more of just Scarlet and Trevor together. I am sad to see this series end, it's one I'll go back and reread (in order again :) )This book made me laugh and gave me some teary moments and I overall enjoyed it. I recommend this book and this series.
