Description

He was my first. My everything. My brother's best friend.
Filthy-mouthed, tattooed, arrogant, womanizer.
Tyler knew how to melt my panties... and my heart.
But he disappeared when I needed him.

Now years later, he's back for Christmas as my brother's friend and business partner.
Sitting at my parents' dining room table,
Undressing me with his eyes.
I can't forget the night he took my V-card.
And I wonder what harm would it be to replay that scene now...

It'll be just one more night.
Hit-it-and-quit-it.
I'll finally get over him and move on with my life - once and for all, right?

Now that Santa's making my wish come true,
I can see my whole world turning upside down.
Turns out this is the hottest mistake of my life.
And screwed has never felt so good!

This is the first book in the Unwrapped Christmas Collection by Amy Brent.

This book is long and drug out. The writing is bland and like reading an elementary school essay. Phrases are repeated constantly and there is almost zero development through the whole book. The characters are shallow and not developed at all. All of a sudden they go off the deep end with no warning. I didn’t even make it more than halfway though before I couldn’t take anymore. Don’t waste your time.

Love that fate brought them back together again, enjoyed the length, only saw a few typos and really enjoyed the intimacy.
  • Poorly written 😞

Amy Brent did a great job of bringing the characters to life. Tyler, Amber, Luke and Kelly could be any of us. The book was longer than I expected (yeah!) and was an enjoyable read. Not the “Christmas “ story I expected but was a great get away from real life.
