Catching Chase

This is my first read from this author and I did enjoy it. Their angst wasn’t drawn out but I did feel that they resolved their issues a little quickly.

I enjoyed Catching Chase. It’s a sweet second chance story. It’s easy to read and has a good flow to it. I liked all the characters especially little Chase. He is super adorable and just melts my heart. Jasper and Megan’s reunion totally pulled at my heart strings. The ending of their story is heartwarming. I’m really glad to have gone this journey with them.

Jasper and Megan meet by chance while Megan is at a work conference. Quickly, they start making real plans for the future. However, those plans don’t pan out because Megan is clueless about Jasper’s past, as well as the media sensationalism that follows the football player around. When Jasper sees Megan 4 years later, he wants to catch up and explain everything that went wrong in person, until he sees a toddler with his eyes call her mom. Then he has to decide exactly what he wants. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
