    The writing is excellent, characters are perfect, not because they’re literally perfect but because they’re imperfect. The story is beautiful, sad, exciting, frustrating, and sooo good. I loved and hated Simon, and I loved and was frustrated at Charlotte. They just seemed so real, their story is painful and beautiful.

    First time reading this author. The book was free and so many gave it five stars so I went for it. Unfortunately I found it so depressing I almost gave up on it. However I did finish it, and it did end well.

    Amazing writing. Dialogues flowed naturally. Consistencies in the events all over the chapters. I read every words in this book. In the past, I found myself skipping plenty. The writer knows what the readers imagine in their minds. I love the story between the main characters. This book kept me up until I finished. I’ve been an avid reader since 13 yo. I’m 43.

    Was up half the night finishing this first book in a series. So original and well written, with characters I just loved. Simon and Charlotte can’t fight their desire to be together even though events from the past work to keep them apart. Their love story is the best I’ve read in a long time. Emotional, steamy, sexy, and surprising. Highly recommended.
