Description

What happens when everything is going smoothly?

The inevitable, of course.

Duke
Duke Maddox’s life couldn’t get any better. He was bright, popular, likable, and destined for the MLB. Even with his brother and best friends off at college, Duke still had plenty of life left in him, and his senior year was going to be the best yet. He had the world at his fingertips, and he knew it. So, why was he feeling anything but happy at this point? Good question.

Well, that can often be the case when you’re hit with the unexpected. It isn’t like Duke regrets what happened, though. In fact, he’s glad it did but doesn’t understand where the disconnect is. Willow Davis shouldn’t be such a hard nut to crack. However, he’s ready to do whatever it takes to clear up the confusion and make the brilliant, beautiful, snarky nerd his.

Willow
Willow Davis wanted only one thing in life, and she was on the fast track to getting it. With an IQ off the charts, years of hard work, and determination like a racehorse, Willow was going to get into any college of her choosing and change the world. That goal was more important than any popularity, shopping excursions, or pedicures. So, why wasn’t she more excited? Good question.

Well, that can often be the case when you’re hit with the unexpected. Contrary to the results of her IQ test, Willow ends up making the stupidest decision of her life when she drags Duke freakin’ Maddox into her spontaneous, stupid, and reckless plan. Doing her best to act invisible, it’s a lot harder than it seems. However, there’s no hiding from the hottest guy in school.

When life is no longer just fun and games…
Knowing that there’s more to the story than he’s being told, Duke starts on a mission that he has no plans on backing down from until he claims victory. As he does his best to get to the bottom of things, he’s taking no prisoners and Willow Davis is no exception.

Knowing that there’s only one way to absolve herself of the regret and humiliation she feels, Willow has to find a way to face the unfortunate music. No matter how mortifying, it’s the morally right thing to do. She just hopes Duke Maddox doesn’t lose his mind when she finally confesses her sins.

Willow never expected such a fallout, but Duke wasn’t about to just go away.
