Usually the first book of a book series usually set the tone with an compelling beginning but with Saving Noah as it starts with Lexi telling her side of the story, well I didn’t get very far. Of course she had a great compassion when being Noah’s friend to start with but with the slow pace really made my head hurt that I just stopped reading and removed the download. I don’t know if this was offered a freebie or not, but I could say it was not ideal digital book to read even if it was on a whim.

The use of a comma after every few words and other grammatical errors made this an extremely difficult read.

Wow, great story, great characters, great everything! This book gives great insight to how injured military soldiers deal with life after near fatal situations, physically and more importantly, mentally and emotionally. Be ready to cry tears of joy and sadness, it’s guaranteed to happen.
  • Lacking

This story is written like some fairytale. So unrealistic I couldn’t even finish it and I tried hard but there is no buy in for the fairytale fiction. It’s written by someone with no idea what trauma is really like. The plot that wounded soldiers and their families would live like this and not suffer with the wounds described is pure fiction.

This book was amazing from the first page. I found myself cheering for Noah everyday and praying for his recovery. I know Afghanistan vets firsthand and what they go through the trauma from that insane war. You did an amazing job telling Noah story and the other vets in the hospital. I wish I could do what Lexi does everyday but I know there are many have accepted that challenge and have more than we will ever know. Great story portrayed so well
