4.5 Thoreau and Elisse. Grew up together, but Theo is damaged from the death of his sister and the divorce of his parents. He’s a race car driver with baggage and is a shallow player. Elisse had a crush on Theo but when she realized he’s a shallow player she had to hate his guts. I dislike that Theo constantly told her she didn’t belong in the garage. I guess I needed more from both characters to complete their arch.

I am loving the collaboration between these two authors. They compliment each other so so well. Not only the story is well written but the plot is mesmerizing and characters are well developed and relatable. We are back in Winter Valley CO and with a brothers best friend troupe, this time we get Elisse and Theo’s story . Elisse has a long time crush on her brother best friend Theo . The story was captivating and beautifully written it was unputdownable and binge read worthy story. It was heartwarming and a wonderful story. The story had lighter moments, emotional and romantic moments which gives you all the feels. Loved the plot and characters. There isn’t anything about this story I didn’t enjoy. I don’t want to give any spoilers but definitely this is one of my favorites from 2022 . Highly recommend this story.

I loved Here with You, by Claudia Burgoa and Grahame Claire the third book in their Winter Valley series! I loved every moment on every page of Here with You and it was impossible to put it down. Who does not love a longtime crush on your brother's best friend love story? Claudia Burgoa and Grahame Claire did not disappoint their readers with Here with You and delivered an incredible story filled with everything that I love in a holiday love story. Who does not love hot sexy men, who make you swoon, strong females, loving families, and friends, who always support one another, and wonderful characters? I loved meeting the Bradford brothers. I really enjoy how Here with You is written in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love knowing what the main characters are thinking and feeling. My favorite moments in Here with You are the lighter moments where I found myself smiling and laughing aloud. I also love the parts that pull at my heartstrings and cause me to sigh, as I read the heartbreaking moments Here with You is filled with such moments, and with so much more. Here with You is filled with all those elements that I have come to love and expect in a holiday love story, especially the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. Here with You is the love story of Elisse Bradford, mechanic for Morgan’s Auto Repair & Body Shop, and an event planner with her younger sister, Clarissa and her brother’s best friend and her longtime crush, Thoreau “Theo” Foster, racecar driver, future CEO of Foster Industries, and co-owner of Morgan’s Auto Repair & Body Shop. Theo is Morgan Bradford’s best friend, and Elisse has had a crush on him since she was a child. With Morgan away finishing his degree at MIT, Elisse has taken over Morgan’s Auto Repair & Body Shop, her dream job. After completing and winning a twenty-four-hour endurance race in Saudi Arabia, Theo heads to Winter Valley, to help and at the shop and design a new car for his next race. As Elisse and Theo spend time together work together and spend time together things quickly heat up between them. Theo is concerned about starting a relationship with Elisse because he is concerned how it will impact his friendship with Morgan. Neither one wants to admit their true feelings for one another. Elisse shares the secrets about how being a mechanic is her dream job and not being an event planner and Theo shares the secrets about what happened to his family following his sister, Tilly’s death and what is expected of him regarding Foster Industries. I love the conversations between Elisse and Theo. I love Theo and Elisse’s love story, and how a plot twist changes things between them. I love all the changes that Theo is willing to make in his life to have a life and future with Elisse, and how he is willing to admit his true feelings to her. Despite his upbringing with his dad and Uncle Oscar. Claudia Burgoa and Grahame Claire have created such wonderful and memorable characters in Here with You. I love the characters and the family dynamic in Here with You, the characters feel like family and friends. I loved catching up with the other characters in the series, it felt like a family reunion. I enjoy all the interactions among Bradford siblings, it feels like real family love and makes me laugh at their teasing. I loved the bittersweet and poignant moments, as well as the unexpected plot twists. Here with You was a wonderful love story. I love the ending of their love story and how Elisse’s longtime crush turned into forever. I highly recommend this holiday romance.

I missed the first two books in this series so I feel like this can be read as a complete standalone. Would I appreciate the relationships around Theo and Elisse more, probably. Was I lost, definitely not. I have read a lot of Claudia Burgoa but I haven't read any books by Grahame Claire. This book didn't feel like two different people writing so it makes me want to add all the GC books to my TBR. I'm not sure if this series will actually continue I really hope so. These characters and this town are ones I would want to visit again.

This is a quick read about a best friend and his sister real romance. Theo Foster is a billionaire who works for Foster the business his grandfather started. He know as a player boy and races a car. He is best friends with Morgan who work on his car. He has a sister that has got Theo looking twice. Elisse has had a crush since she could remember. Theo doesn’t tell his best friend that he has a thing for Elisse his sister. She works on his last car and wished he would stop flirting. The story is fun, exciting. And has love. They both tried to ignore each other , put they keep pushing on. . It help that he didn’t lives in Winter Valley. His visit seem to be less in time but was always on the phone. It’s always great to go back to Winter Valley, as I’ve really enjoyed this series by these wonderful authors. It’s a super quick read that can be gobbled up in one sitting, which is great, but I wish it was longer. Elisse was a strong character but a pushover at the same time. Torn between helping her sister grow a business that Elisse really isn’t passionate about and trying to prove to her brother that the garage is her dream job, she’s spread thin. It doesn’t help when brother’s bestie, and her longtime crush, Theo, starts to oversee her work at the garage. Cue the tension. I liked the push and pull between the characters, but the chemistry was more luke warm than burning hot for me. And I wanted Elisse to stand up for herself more instead of being angry. Theo was okay, but he had his own issues of inadequacy to deal with as well. Still, Here With You was a really good book.
