Description

The first book in the #1 New York Times bestselling Princess Diaries series by Meg Cabot.

Mia Thermopolis is pretty sure there’s nothing worse than being a five-foot-nine, flat-chested freshman, who also happens to be flunking Algebra. Is she ever in for a surprise.

First Mom announces that she’s dating Mia’s Algebra teacher. Then Dad has to go and reveal that he is the crown prince of Genovia. And guess who still doesn’t have a date for the Cultural Diversity Dance?

The Princess Diaries is the first book in the beloved, bestselling series that inspired the feature film starring Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews.

  • Enjoyable, but the rest...

This book is really good and funny! It’s a tad sexy and I find it really fun to compare and contrast to the movie. I even enjoyed a lot of the other books, but as you keep reading the series it just keeps getting stupider and stupider and more sexual. Eventually, I got to the point where I was completely done with this series (in an exasperated way). It all depends on what you find funny, but this book is really, really good!

Us is one of the best series I have ever read in my life. I was reading a different series of hers and was waiting for the last book to be reshelved when I saw one of her princess diaries books and decided to start reading it because I was waiting and then I absolutely fell in love with the characters. I have read this series three times going on four.

Oh man, I've read this book countless times since I was 11 years old (I'm now 23!). Meg Cabot's numerous books helped to fuel my love of reading and define my teen years. Every young girl should read this gem of a novel; it will warm my heart forever.

This is probably one of my favorite book series of all time if not my favorite. I constantly retread them for I deal as though, even though I'm not a princess that the story line can be applied to my life as far as friends and high school goes. Each time I reread it,I learn something new about myself for as I have gotten older I find that I react to things very differently than in the past. I HIGHLY suggest this book it's relatable funny, and a great story line. It really feels like the writer is talking to you(hence the diary in the tittle) Ps it's very different from the movie so don't use the excuse that Issa movie ill just watch that instead. The books are WAYYYY better than the movie trust me, everyone who I've talked to agrees so read the books you won't regret it!(:
