Description

This is the story of Paul, a sophomore at a high school like no other: The cheerleaders ride Harleys, the homecoming queen used to be a guy named Daryl (she now prefers Infinite Darlene and is also the star quarterback), and the gay-straight alliance was formed to help the straight kids learn how to dance.

When Paul meets Noah, he thinks he’s found the one his heart is made for. Until he blows it. The school bookie says the odds are 12-to-1 against him getting Noah back, but Paul’s not giving up without playing his love really loud. His best friend Joni might be drifting away, his other best friend Tony might be dealing with ultra-religious parents, and his ex-boyfriend Kyle might not be going away anytime soon, but sometimes everything needs to fall apart before it can really fit together right.

This is a happy-meaningful romantic comedy about finding love, losing love, and doing what it takes to get love back in a crazy-wonderful world.

  • Cool Twist of the Teen Years

This is more of a read for teens than adults I think. It’s about the drama of the high school years. It’s very open with sexual orientation so no matter where someone falls in the hetero or QUILTBAG spectrum (so basically everyone alive), there is something to relate to. *SPOILER* For me, the best part was when they all show up together to pick the one boy up for a date. That was a magic moment, and the rest of the story after that as well.

One of the best books I've read in a while. Definitely has an early john green feel, like after looking for Alaska, around Will Grayson Will Grayson (coincidence, or not?)

I love this book because it goes without cliches and paints out an image that the LGBT life should feel like. Also the language and writing are smartly and nicely written.

It's so refreshing to read an LGBT romance without the cliched coming out story. Beautifully written and so dead on with some of the insights into the lives of gay teenagers.

It was an amazing book. I cried. A lot. I am usually a person of many words, but with this book I can say only this to express the emotion and wonder that is Boy Meets Boy.
