It's hard to believe that this was written by GS the main characters had no chemistry and the heroine was not likable at all she came across as a whining teenager rather then an adult. I usually love Showalter's books but this one I had to force myself to finish because I was convinced it had to get better but it never does.

I have loved all the other GS books but was disappointed with this one. I actually stopped reading it at one point to start another book, came back and finished this one and was completely surprised to realize it was written by GS. To forget who authored it while reading it makes it forgettable. I would never bother re-reading this. Pick another GS series.

It was good, thrilling book as usual. However, it lacked the heat one comes to expect from a Showalter novel! Where's the sexual tension?

I love Gena Showalter and I read everything she writes, but this book left me dissatisfied. It was ok. Great concept, not great follow through. Little slow and missing that sexual tension and those steamy scenes I've come to expect from her.

Gena has done it again! Amazing book couldn't put it down. She has such a way with words I can see it clearly in my mind like watching a movie. It is a must read. !!!!
