More Than Words: Bestselling authors & Real-life heroines

We all have the power to effect change—we just need to find the strength to harness it. With every good deed done, and helping hand offered, we are making the world a better place. The dedicated women selected as this year's recipients of Harlequin's More Than Words award have changed many lives for the better, through their compassionate hearts and unshakable commitment. To celebrate their accomplishments, bestselling authors have written stories inspired by these real-life heroines.

In this book, Jillian Hart honors the work of Mary Byberg, a committed volunteer for Nellie’s Shelter for Women and Children in Toronto, Ontario.

We hope More Than Words inspires you look inside your heart and to get in touch with the heroine inside of you.

The storyline was very emotional and enlightening. I’m constantly admiring women who has the strength to break free of these kinds of relationships. I was also happy to see that Mariah found happiness and hopefully Lyn will too.

This story made me cry my half sisters sister was murdered not even two months ago by her ex husband. She was beaten to death and her father found her. Her ex got life in jail but before he was with her he had beaten a girl friend but was never charged because they dismissed it On evidence technicality I'm 17 years old and miss her very much she left behind two daughters a 2 and 10 year old. I'm happy she has finally found peace with god and her ex will be judged one day but I regret that her kids will grow up without either parent and we will grow up without a sister. And a mother and father lost a daughter. This book had helped my family cop with our grief knowing that their are families out there who get their happily ever after and that there are foundations to help. R. I.
