When Colin Ardin learns about Holocaust Remembrance Day (Yom HaShoah) in Hebrew School, he has difficulty connecting his own life to the enormity of a far-off historical event. Then he meets Mr. Levinsky, the local barber, who tells him his story of surviving the Holocaust.
