This is the ninth and final biographical book from the best-selling Great Lives From God's Word series. The book was released just approximately ten years ago, and I received it as a gift for Christmas eight years ago. It is the sixth book in the series I have read, and like the other books in the series, it is loaded with Scripture. I certainly approve of that. Unlike Endo's A Life of Jesus, Dr. Swindoll's book does not contain a bunch of unorthodox theories and ideas. The 300 pager can be easily understood by someone who knows very little about Christ yet still be very beneficial for those who have been living their lives for Christ for many years.
