It’s an interesting story and I liked the characters. But, in my opinion, it ends on a cliffhanger. Yes they win a battle at the end of this book, so that’s kind of an ending, but you have to read subsequent books to find out if the couple is together or wins against the enemy. Not knowing those items makes this a cliffhanger in my opinion.

Wow! this is a fresh twist on shifters and (other) magic. very enjoyable. Looking forward to the next installment in this series.
