  • Good book

The book is very good if they can go back and correct the grammatical errors and sentence structure made throughout the book.
  • Needs a spell check, badly!

    See above.
  • Too many inconsistencies

How many last names does Cara need? She had at least five in the book. Lots of scene jumping with no transitional information. Many typos, missing words, changes in the location of the action, etc., all of which should have been caught by an editor or proofreader. I marked a lot of the errors in my copy of the book if anyone is interested.
  • Lots of mistakes

The author spends too much time with the creative writing, getting lost in description to the detriment of the story. A lot of mistakes on peoples names, locations conflict, and character titles/ranks.
  • Purple Prose

Abandoned this one after one chapter, which is very unusual for me. The writing is extremely exaggerated, embroidered, and overwrought. The emotional and scenic descriptions overwhelm the plot. It also appears to have been unedited or proofread. A “waist of time,” as one of the sentences indicated. !! This poor author was completely underserved by her publisher.
