Jack Reacher: Friend or Enemy?

It's been a while since we first met Lee Child's Jack Reacher in Killing Floor. Fifteen years and sixteen novels later, Reacher still lives off the grid, until trouble finds him, and then he does whatever it takes, much to the delight of readers and the dismay of villains. Now someone big is looking for him. Who? And why? Hunting Jack Reacher is a dangerous business, as FBI Special Agents Kim Otto and Carlos Gaspar are about to find out. Otto and Gaspar are by-the-book hunters who know when to break the rules; Reacher is a stone cold killer. Reacher is a wanted man, but is he their friend or their enemy? Only the secrets hidden in Margrave, Georgia will tell them.

This book is useless to me. The text is too small. I cannot read it. Nor can i find an option to chane font and font size. I w8ill try for a refund.
  • Too much fantasy! Leaps of guesswork to impossible situations.

At the risk of sounding stupid, which I really don’t think I am, I have absolutely no idea how the book really ended. Maybe it’s just me, but there were several loose ends that I just didn’t have clarity on. Plus the whole ending from the last 150 or so pages was very hard to follow. And I don’t even know what this really had to do with reacher besides just mentioning his name and a few details from “killing floor” . Sounded like a great concept but didn’t really execute well. I guess I’d give the next book a shot but it would have to be epic to keep me reading.

Very good story, end was a little predictable. Definitely a page turner ! Looking forward to next story in line.

I just could not get through this book. Confusing, boring characters, and the references to Jack Reacher that really did nothing but add confusion. I’ll stick to CJ Box, John Grisham, Lee Child, etc.

Really a poorly crafted story. Main characters not likable or believable. Mr Child is selling his endorsement very cheaply. Has he ever read this book?fred1

Interesting read, especially for Reacher fans. I found it a little difficult to keep up with who were the bad guys.
