I looked through this book myself before giving it to my 9 year old sister. The flash cards with visual pictures and audio help greatly with her ability to learn the words presented. She learned very easily the words in this book and I loved the cute pictures. My only issue was that the book presented a lot of words that my sister would not use as often as other words that weren't put in there, such as more food items and maybe ways to say things like "friend" and other key words in daily conversation. Overall, it is a great learning tool for kids to break the ice on their German!
