Description

Start the first season of the groundbreaking post-apocalyptic serial: Yesterday's Gone; the breakout horror/sci-fi series with over 1000 5-star reviews!

They thought they were alone. But they were wrong...

On October 15th, humanity went missing, leaving only a handful of scattered survivors behind. The world is now empty of friends, family, and neighbors.

Among them, an eight-year-old child searches for his family, only to find a nightmare he never expected.

A special agent turned enemy of the state survives a fiery plane crash with no way to reach his daughter. But is he who he says or even thinks he is?

A reporter will do anything to reconnect with his son, even if he has to wander the empty streets of Manhattan to find him, and even if those streets aren't really so empty.

A mother and daughter are desperate to survive with their two remaining neighbors, on the run but with nowhere to go.

A teenage boy who spent his life bullied and who might be the only person in the world that's happy to see it gone.

And a brilliantly brutal serial killer who will do anything he can to stay at the top of the food chain.

Now, these strangers must find the strength to survive in the new world.

But they are not alone.

In the absence of civilization, a new threat emerges. In the stillness, it waits and watches, preying on their weakness. Their only hope is to find more survivors, rise above their fear, and face the oncoming darkness.

But can they unite before they, too, are lost? And can they all be trusted?

Loved the format and enjoyed the story... The only con for me was the swearing! Was it absolutely necessary for so much?

And it's worth it. There were times when the complexity and confusing elements made me wonder how I would feel at the end, but it grabs you and keeps you enthralled. The characters, while beyond belief, were also pretty interesting and engaging. It would be very easy to nit pick, but end of day it's a fun, exciting at times and definitely engrossing read. Worth the purchases down the line.

Wow. I love sci-fi and have read so many different scenarios , but this book blew them out of the water. Swan Song by Robert Cameron was always my favorite go to book, but this story was totally engrossing. I could not put it down! Totally believable and freaking scary and amazing. Thanks for a fantastic book. I will be purchasing the rest of the series. A new fan!!

So the authors just finished the series, and I just finished Season 1... I loved it. I loved the story, characters, and formatting. It is rare that I read fiction, but this story was just that great. I fully plan to purchase the remaining seasons now. I will be looking into their other titles as well, once I find a writer I like I try to stick with them.

I'm late to this world (they're now done w/season 3 as I start reading) but I'm really enjoying the format and they do a great job with the cliff hangers. Having read through season 4 now as I update this review, Yesterday's Gone is a great long-running serial with a large cast of characters. The first season is a little bit rough around the edges, but they work in great cliffhangers that keep you reading from episode to episode and each season gets better as the authors improve in their collaborations. The underlying story is complex enough to enjoy and to support the large cast of characters, but not so complex that the reader is left completely behind.
