Kachinlifestories is pleased to present this new book series entitled Kachinlifestories Anthologies. Comprised of testimonial-like accounts and short recollections of life experiences by ordinary Kachin in different parts of the world, this is a continuing series of text-based narratives. All these short narratives are written, or recorded and transcribed, in the original language used by the storyteller, be it in Jinghpaw, Burmese, Zaiwa, Chinese, Japanese, Thai or English, etc. These are original and raw narratives capturing in entirety the stories and context of the storytellers. Kachinlifestories Anthologies marks another new beginning for Kachinlifestories, an on-going public project to construct an ephemeral autoethnographic knowledge base about the Kachin generated through the individual volitions of Kachin people from around the world.
