VERY Well written .it kept me on edge messed with my heart a bit but I have grown to love this book

Not a big deal

The blurb for this book is vastly understated. This book holds so much more depth and beauty- you have to read it for yourself!! I love every page, and I was smiling from ear to ear as I finished. This isn’t your typical D/s romance, so if you’re not into that, don’t shy away! The kink level isn’t very high. What it comes down to are two people who are strong on their own, but learn real strength comes from being vulnerable and leaning on each other. The D/s is merely a manifestation of that, and not the driving force. I think what sets this apart is that it never feels toxic- it’s two people who love each other. I really related to May. Although it’s indicated in the blurb and a tiny bit in the first chapter that she’s in over her head with the new job, she isn’t. She just isn’t who Lauchlan thought he needed, because he had put his guard up. She’s driven, and we find out why. She feels like it’s up to her to be the glue that holds everything together, but she knows eventually she’s going to meet her breaking point. Over and over she picks herself back up and keeps moving forward. But who takes care of her? I fell in love with all of the characters- including the whole extended Irish family! I think you would too. This one is going on my “read again and again” list!
