Another fabulous read by Lorraine! I thought this was such a sweet yet steamy romance and that’s right up my ally! Fancy, the youngest Trewlove, is destined for a posh life with an aristocratic husband of title. She works at her bookshop that her eldest brother made for her. She also give reading lessons to adults a few evenings a week. When Fancy fist meets Matthew, an Earl, he’s come to her shop for a book. She feels an instant attraction but pushes as such away because he isn’t titled. Matthew, an Earl and widower, is trying to stay out of society and not looking for a wife. He thinks the ton women are only out for money and a title. He wants to be liked for himself and nothing more. He is most definitely attracted to Fancy, but tells himself not to since she’s seeking a titled gentlemen for a husband. These two are wonderful characters and quite a match! It was wonderful watching them transform and get to know one another into friendship than to lovers. They both learn a lot about trusting, themselves, and love! Truly a wonderfully sweet story! I adored it so! I always recommend anything by Lorraine! I CAN NOT wait for Beast’s story! Ok but really you need to read Fancy & Matthew’s story.
