This is a very simple and concise book. This book reinforces the 10 times tables. It reminds the child that the first number tells you how many groups and the second number tells you the value or the amount. This book provides visuals on how many groups of 10. The child can count in tens to know the answer and once they are confident with what 2 times 10 means they should be able to understand what they need to do to know what 3 times 10 is and so on. This is another book made for my son to consolidate the speed and efficiency of his times tables. You can have fun with your child and say what is 3 lots of 10? or what is 3 groups of 10 or my answer is 30 what is the question?
