Description

NOW A NETFLIX SERIES!

The bestselling author and creator of the hit Netflix dramas Stay Close and The Stranger delivers a #1 New York Times bestseller that asks how well parents really know their children—and puts them on a technological roller coaster of their worst fears.

“We’re losing him.” With those words, Mike and Tia Baye decide to spy on their sixteen-year-old son Adam, who has become increasingly moody and withdrawn since the suicide of his best friend. The software they install on his computer shows them every Web site visited, every e-mail sent or received, every instant message. And each keystroke draws them deeper and deeper into a maze of mayhem and violence that could destroy them all....

One of the best books I’ve ever read. Coben never disappoints. Page turner.
  • You DO have the right.

As a parent it is absolutely your right to monitor everything your child does until they are 21. It is your duty to protect them. "Invading their privacy?" Their privacy falls way below the parents responsibility for their safety. And the internet is poison. Also Harlan is wrong to suggest that evil deeds are only a matter of circumstances, such as a grocer who now becomes a soldier and commits atrocities. There is still no excuse. We all have free will. You choose to do what is right.

When I read this I was on an 8 hour flight, once I started I couldn't put it down! I read all the way on the plane and through my trip! This book is a testament of Coben's skills at story telling! Once again he makes his books so relatable with nosey parents and rebellious teens! Once you add the drama of a Coben plot makes this book addicting!!

First book I have read by this author but can't wait to read some more. I've read a lot of James Patterson and Patricia Cornwell books but this book is the best book I have read ever. Many twists and turns but still easy to follow. Must read

This book keeps you on the edge of your seat all the way through. This is the second of Mr. Coben's novels that I've (Caught was the first) and I've become a convert. Only question now is which one to choose next?
