    Layer upon layer of seemingly divergent stories that finally settled to a satisfying conclusion. Mercy is amazing and her character just deepens & grows on me. I need to read it again to catch bits which I missed the first time!

    I love the Mercy series and this book is another one of my favorites. Every interesting way of presenting the plot but I really enjoyed it. I also loved how nicely the author tied up and addressed a few loose ends from the previous book. Wish we had a mini chapter from Honey midway through, but we’ll probably get that in the next book. Btw, Patricia Briggs, if you ever want to do another spin off series like Alpha and Omega, I would happily buy all of the stories pertaining to a certain couple in this book. They are so fascinating and I’d love to know more about their past and future since Mercy’s influence

    Such a variety of characters! So many problems for Mercy and Adam to face! It is exciting. I can’t wait to see what happens with Bonarata! Great book.

I know I will read this book multiple times (as I have done with her prior works in this series), be drawn into the world and plots she creates and marvel at her talents. The stories are never predictable and should not be missed.
