I read the first book and had very mixed emotions about it, but decided to read this one after all and great book. But maybe since my husband and I lived in that area for almost 30 years and only recently moved back up north. We have eaten in almost everyplace that was named and all so far of the places visited, except some of the kids places and then only when our grandchildren came down. Story is good, but I miss Max and his loving way. Especially since my husband is retired military and have known this to happen. Life goes on.
  • Interesting but amateur

This story line is really good, but the chapters are very long. Too many days and themes run together with no distinction between them. Details are repeated like the main character couple are introduced to another couple at the same party twice. The kids are out of school for the summer yet all of a sudden Alec is dropping them off at school. I do love the main characters. Good read for the price!

Where do I even begin? I will start by trying not give away too many spoilers if any. Emma and Alec were finally getting to there happily ever after and in walks his ex-wife Molly. She's a real piece of work and a little disturbed. However in this book we find out a little more about her past and what led her to the point that she's in. We are also introduced to another character through Molly who has an interesting past as well. Alec and emma try their best to go about their lives without interruption from Molly and almost get there when a major even happens that could change things. I can't tell you the rest because even I don't know how it ends , so we will have to wait until the third and final book is released in May!
