Description

The New York Times #1 best-selling series

To find their friends, Jacob, Emma, and Addison go to Devil’s Acre, a crime-ridden Victorian underworld, but they uncover an operation far more sinister than they imagined . . .

In Victorian England, Jacob discovers the Library of Souls, a hidden collection that holds the key to saving his peculiar friends and the entire peculiar world. Inside the library, he encounters a ymbryne, a powerful ancient creature who possesses the ability to control time and manipulate souls.

With time running out, Jacob must unlock his own peculiar abilities and confront his darkest fears to rescue his friends from the clutches of the malevolent wights.

Filled with heart-pounding action, breathtaking twists, and the power of friendship, the third chapter of the Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children series is a thrilling adventure that tests the limits of courage and the strength of peculiar bonds.

“Oh, my birds, I love this book! I’m obsessed with Ransom Riggs’s wildly creative world packed with heroic, heartwarming characters, super baddies, and incredible settings like Devil’s Acre and the Library of Souls.”—Justine magazine

“Fans of the trilogy’s first two books will enjoy Library of Souls for its unique world, fast action, satisfying answers and a thorough tying up of loose ends.”—Free Lance-Star

“I enjoyed reading this book so much, the cliched ‘I couldn’t put it down’ doesn’t suffice.”—Geeks of Doom

“Readers are sure to leap right in after the cliffhanger ending of Hollow City, and they won’t be disappointed.”—RT Book Review, 4 1/2 of 5 stars

This page turner touches on more mature topics. The characters development and growth is well written and very satisfying! The triumph of good over Evil and some nail biting moments of utter suspense! A Great Book I just couldn’t put down! My bags are packed and I am ready for the Peculiar world, I never want to leave!

I love miss p’s, and this what a great addition, but I noted a few inconsistencies within the series. SPOILERS BELOW if abaton was abandoned by its inhabitants who maintained the loop??? Also Emma is not over 100 years old :/ Besides those things, I loved how to book ended. Especially that last sentence. I’m not a fantasy fan but this is a great exception!! Though if you ignored my warning before and you have not read the the series I recommend you read the first book. ( obviously 🙄 ) There are a few spots where some minor details are inconsistent with the early we books, but no book is perfect.

Omg! I absolutely ADORED this book! I’m 13 and totally suggest this book to ALL teens and preteens! Miss peregrine’s peculiar children has inspired me to write a mini-novel about a peculiar girl (who has wings on her back) who meets a peculiar boy named Evan, and somehow they end up in the (somewhat empty) panloopticon and journey through all the loops. Then one day they discover the wights in hiding and, with the help of some friends, defeat them once and for all!!! From your peculiar friend, who may or may not be watching you from under your bed ( go ahead, look), Carson Waida

A real page-turner! I love far-out, unpredictable stuff like this. This series truly takes out out of this world and into another!

Riggs has created an amazing story. I could write an essay on how I feel about all 3 of these books. (There should be a movie that stays true to the books and represents this wonderful story appropriately.)

This series was so well done it held me captive through all three books. The ending was brilliant and I have recommended them to many people knowing they will not be disappointed. This was just a terrific ending to a great beginning and everyone should read these three books.
