Description

Her attitude is less than merry and bright…

Melanie Harper and Christmas do not see eye to eye. While most people celebrate and look forward to the holidays, it's something she has come to dread. When she receives a gift from an unlikely source - a house in the quaint town of Silver Bell Falls - her immediate reaction is to reject it. After all, with a name like that, you're pretty much guaranteed to be surrounded by people who love Christmas!

He sees it as the most wonderful time of the year…

Josiah Stone is all about peace on earth and goodwill toward man. Maybe it's because he's the sheriff of a town named after a beloved Christmas song, but that doesn't make it any less true. Christmas is his favorite time of year and living in Silver Bell Falls where everyone feels the same and celebrates it nearly year-round only adds to his festive outlook on life.

Can a white Christmas change everything?

When Melanie is forced to stay in Silver Bell Falls during the actual holiday season, she's less than thrilled. But after meeting the sexy sheriff she finds that there is something to be said about the magic of Christmas.

A good story without graphic sex for which I thank you. Although Sex belongs only in marriage the world is evil. I thank God that I was raised with that concept and met a man who respected me and waited until we were married. He died almost 6 years ago but I still miss him very much. We were married 57 years.

This Christmas book was a delight for me. A nice storyline. Characters that were fun to get to know. The “required” beautiful woman. The handsome sheriff living steps away. She was forced to live in a town that was all about Christmas when Christmas was the last thing on earth she wanted to be reminded of. A remarkable attraction that seemed impossible happening all at once. The romance was sweet, very tastefully written, & I enjoyed page after page late into the night because I just couldn’t stop reading. I hope you’ll read & enjoy it, too.

I love this book...just reread it again and was shocked I hadn’t reviewed it previously. As a Christmas romance junkie, it hit all my sweet spots! A town that’s seriously Christmas-centric, a Scrooge-like character ( and so fun it’s our heroine and not the hero), a sexy cop ( and that name...Josiah...love it!) and a a romance writing heroine...what’s not to love?! I’m usually a little skeptical of that immediate attraction between leads...yes, even being a die-hard romancer...but Melanie and Josiah hooked me from page 1. Of course, most of that is due to the writing style of Samantha Chase. Her characters grab you from the beginning and don’t let go. The banter in this read is on pointe, between both Josiah and Melanie as well as Melanie and her dad (ps, I’d love to see an epilogue where he gets a little romance himself). Christmas in Silver Bell Falls is one I’ll read every season. It’s sweet, it’s sad, it’s sexy and it awesome!

A wonderful, heartwarming Christmas story that I could not put down. A perfect read for a lazy afternoon wrapped up in your blanket in front of your Christmas tree. Melanie is bah humbug with the holiday season, but when her grandmother dies and leaves her house to her with stipulations. She needs to live in Silver Bell Falls for three months. What she did not expect to find is Josiah, her single neighbor who shows her the pure magic and the love of the Christmas season. I loved Josiah, he was so patient with Melanie. I highly recommend this book for a wonderful Christmas romance.
