Description

It's Christmastime again in Silver Bell Falls and the whole town is getting in the spirit to help ballet teacher Abby Foster achieve her dream of opening her own dance studio!

Dancing has been Abby's dream for her entire life – but more than anything, she wanted that dream in her beloved hometown of Silver Bell Falls.  Teaching ballet to children at the community center is fine, but she' hoping for so much more – her own studio, her own business…not to mention maybe meeting Mr. Right and having a family of her own.  For almost a year, she's been picturing Dean Hayes in that role and if he wasn't such a darn recluse, maybe she'd have a chance.

Solitude and Dean Hayes have always gone hand-in-hand.  It wasn't by choice, but because of circumstances beyond his control.  And once again, things are out of his control when he finds himself being named permanent guardian for his five year old niece just in time for the holidays.  Dean had always imagined that he'd have a family of his own someday, just not quite like this.  With the support of his hometown friends, he knows he's going to be okay.  But it's Abby's help with his niece that's making the biggest difference.

This isn't the Christmas either of them has planned, but maybe it's the chance for the most perfect one yet!

Take one small town; add in a perky, hard working and much loved dance teacher/waitress. Mix in a sexy recluse who is now the guardian of his adorable niece, the would-be ballerina. All this and a cast of friendly, funny secondary characters is the sweet treat waiting for you in Christmas On Point, the newest holiday novella by Samantha Chase. Dean and Abby seem on the surface and at first glance to be a mismatched couple. But their love and concern for the orphaned Maya uncover more than meets the eye. Can one little girl bring together two seemingly lonely souls to form a brand new family? You can bet your happily ever after on it! But the journey does have its challenges, which just makes it more realistic to this die-hard romance reader. Another hit from Ms. Chase, who never disappoints!

"Christmas On Pointe: A Silver Bell Falls Holiday Novella" by Samantha Chase is a wonderful Christmas romance. This is Dean Hughes and Abby Foster's story. I loved this story. The author pulls you in from the beginning and you won't be able to put it down. This is a sweet, romantic, and heartwarming Christmas story. Abby has been back in Silver Bell Falls works part-time at the diner and then teaches dance classes the other part. She dreams of opening her own dance studio. Abby also wants to find the one and has dreams of it being Dean Hughes. Dean pretty much stays to himself. He is a very reserved and quiet guy. Dean's life has a dramatic change when he becomes permanent guardian of his niece, Maya. This is a pretty big adjustment for Dean but he was surprised at how the community and especially Abby were there to help and support him. Abby ends up helping with Dean's niece. So, Dean and Abby end up spending lots of time together which turns to more than just friends. Will Dean and Abby take a chance on love? This is a beautiful Christmas love story. I fell in love with Abby, Dean, and Maya's characters. This is a great story to just dive in and escape for a little while. The author did a wonderful job incorporating a sensual but tasteful romance with an uplifting story. I absolutely loved this story. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Abby Foster is a waitress in Silver Bell Falls, but her dream is to open her own dance studio so she can expand on the lessons she gives at the community center. Dean Hughes is one of her customers who is known as a recluse. His life is in a sudden upheaval when his sister dies and leaves behind her young daughter Mia. His parents live in a retirement community in Florida and cannot take her so that leaves Dean. Abby has always had a bit of a crush on Dean. Once Mia comes along, Dean is completely out of his element. The good people of Silver Bell Falls come together to help him out. That includes casseroles (lots and lots of casseroles!) and helping him get Mia settled. Abby steps up to help because she sees herself in the little girl with how she loves everything about dance. That leads to a closer relationship with Dean. I loved watching these two people fall in love and work through their problems to get to their HEA.

Loved, loved, loved!! Dean, Abby and the adorable Maya are such incredible characters and the little town of Silver Bell Falls is the perfect setting for this wonderful holiday story. I look forward to Samantha Chase's holiday stories every year and this is one of her best. She has a way of developing her characters making them feel so warm and real they seem like they could live next door. Abby Foster is the go to girl in Silver Bell Falls. Always willing to give a helping hand but she has dreams of her own. First is opening a real dance studio. Dance is her passion and her calm. Being able to offer more than the small classes at the rec center is something she's always wanted. Second is Dean Hughes. She's always had a crush on the reclusive bachelor and seeing him everyday in the diner has made that crush grow. When Dean finds out his sister has died in an accident and he has been named as guardian to his young niece Maya he feels lost but with the help and guidance of Abby he finds a way to connect with not only Maya but Abby and the residents of the small town as well. As the three go through the holiday season the become a close unit and it looks like things are moving along nicely until Abby has a chance of fulfilling her first dream. You don't want to miss this one. I highly recommend it.

Sometimes it. Takes a bump in the Road to help us find our way. With, Christmas on Pointe, Ms Chase spins a beautiful tale of missed opportunities, optimism, and the powerful force that puts everything in focus....."love"! Abby is a dreamer! Her hopes don't always pan out, but she looks at the world with more of a glass half full, mentality. If at first you don't succeed, keep trying until you do. Dean is more of a realist. He sees things as they are, not what they can be. When life throws a curveball in the form of his five year old niece, his life, heart, and home will never be the same. This is a story of faith, miracles, and family. It captures the meaning of the holiday season and casts a spell on your heart. Fantastic book!

This story really brought on all the feels. Dean isn't the typical alpha type hero. He's a bit on the quiet side and withdrawn. His world is sort of tossed upside down when events leave him as guardian of his niece. I liked that the author showed that while most people would do this, it's not usually without panic or confusion for a bit. Abby was such a fun heroine. She never really seemed to be down about much, and has a fantastic personality. This story makes me wish I lived in a close knit small town. It shows some of the finer things they have to offer (people coming together to help others, looking out for each other, even a little meddling when needed). This book was a great read, and I would definitely recommend it!

Christmas on Pointe by Samantha Chase is a heartwarming Christmas story. Abby Foster has been a dancer her entire life but she is ready to bring her dream of a dance studio to her town of Silver Bell Falls. She wants to move her ballet lessons from the community center to a larger place where she can offer more than just ballet. It is the town residents who come to the rescue, helping Abby find an appropriate place for the new dance studio. Dean Hayes has kept a low profile as he has cleaned up the messes left by his wild sister. Once again, things are out of control when he is named the permanent guardian for his five year old niece, just in time for the holidays. Dean has always believed that he would have a family of his own, but not exactly like this. With the support of friends and the town Dean finds the support to make this work. However, the biggest support comes from Abby, who’s help with his niece m generates the biggest difference. Abby dreamed about Dean being Mr. Right while Dean had been working on his courage to follow up on his attraction to Abby. As Abby and Dean work together to make the holidays special and memorable for his niece, the attraction that has been simmering all along explodes into instant chemistry. This was a fun and entertaining story with loveable characters that you want to support and cheer on hoping for that happy ending. The characters were well written, authentic and complex. The story line was riveting and kept my attention to the very end, reading the story in one day. I genuinely enjoyed reading this book. I highly recommend this book to other readers. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
